HUGE and COOL

They are not as old as some of the other models from decades past, but they are certainly uncommon today. Well, this fridge was quite basic and it was small! It would fill up quickly, especially in a household of four where someone always has something in the fridge. The freezer was on the top and the fridge in the bottom. Fortunately, I got this Samsung refrigerator deliver right to my home! This fridge is a HUGE upgrade to my old fridge and I mean HUGE. This bad boy is larger and it takes up more space in my kitchen, but oh boy is it worth it. There is a ton of room inside for all of us to put some stuff inside. No longer does a watermelon take up half of the fridge. Instead, it seems to take up a much smaller space than before! This model is also a bit more basic compared to the higher-end models, but in my opinion this fridge has everything you need and I don't regret the choice! Temperature control is also very nice. This fridge is on the larger side, but it still manages to stay cool. Even when I am constantly opening the door to get things from the fridge. The freezer being in the bottom was a little weird to get used to. It is a drawer that slides out and there are two levels to it. A top compartment and a lower one that is larger. The drawer takes a bit of muscle to pull out, but I got mine packed full. Even then, it's not too bad and closing it is much easier. It is amazing to see the rails hold up all my frozen goods without any problems so far. The other thing is, the freezer straight up makes snow. I have my freezer set to 0F and a layer of "snow" usually develops on the top of my goods. I was amazed to see this was a thing! I live in an area that never snows and is usually hot for the majority of the year, so I made a snow ball. A small one, but still can you claim to do the same? If so, we should arrange a snowball fight. Overall, I would say I am quite content with the refrigerator. The stainless-steel finish is much more pleasant to look at than my old plastic fridge. The space is a MASSIVE improvement and this baby can keep cool without a sweat! Honestly, I am amazed at the quality of this fridge. The LED lighting is on the cooler side and they are nice and bright. I can easily see what I need even when I pack this fridge with food. Hopefully, this fridge can last me for many years to come!

Soo much space

The shelves on the top are moveable and allow you to customize your fridge for your families specific needs. The freezer on the bottom has a shelf and an ice maker. I prefer the ice maker being inside of the freezer instead of on the door because it stops the stains that happen all too often down the front of the fridge. The doors are smooth and glide effortlessly

What I need without frills

Broke down in 3 months

Submitted by dcar - bought this fridge new from an online retailer and broke down after 3 months. since the return period expired, had to look at samsung's site to see what they can do. only option is to repair a brand new fridge. have to wait for a repairman to find a solution. it's going to be two weeks without a fridge with no place to store my food. this is a terrible experience, and it's frustrating having to wait so long for a solution. i can no longer recommend samsung to anyone.

A much needed upgrade

The layout with the french door fridge on top and the pull out freezer below makes it so much easier to organize and find everything quickly. The spacious and well lit interior makes sure nothing gets lost in the back until refrigerator clean out time anymore. The ice maker in the freezer saves us so much time and hassle compared to having to deal with ice cube trays. I love opening it and just admiring it especially in the dark when I go retrieve some late night drinks or desserts. The stainless steel is superb. It is fingerprint resistant. So definitely no freaking out when my kids run to the fridge for something. Smudges occur here and there from kids having dirty hands but it's a super easy wipedown thankfully. Now, the space this refrigerator has is just magnificent. It has a ton of space. No more crammed things like I had with my previous fridge. This refrigerator has just the right amount of shelves for my milk, juices, and other beverages. All my condiments fit on the opposite door shelving as well and yet there is still space left over. The freezer drawer is super spacious as well. It is deep and fits so much. I have all my seafood and meats in there and even a ham. On the shelve above that, I have all our ice cream and popsicles. I'm definitely making use of that. Overall I love my new addition! I'm no longer limiting what I buy due to lack of space. I love all it's features and feel proud to have this beauty in my home!

I love the inside water dispenser, always clean and free of dirt and grime the kitchen can have. The Meat/Cheese drawer is the whole width of the refrigerator and located on the bottom, so much easier than standard refrigerators when looking for items. This is finger-print resistant and sleek. Submitted by George - great size. 2 issues that we see as a design flaw- 1) to change the water filter, which is recommended every 6 months is that you cannot move the refrigerator forward to shut the water off from the water line behind the refrigerator. . 2-there are levels in front of the front wheels, that when adjusted raise the wheels up.so you have to shut the water supply off to the house (either at the street or in the garage) the refrigerator will not roll forward unless the levels are adjusted up and the wheels drop.the refrigerator weighs 284 pounds empty.. this is an issue being a senior.. this is the first refrigerator i ever owned that does not roll.. also on previously owned refrigerators, never had to shut off the water supply to replace a filter..

The Love of our lives

With all the extra space im able to keep the refrigerator well organized.The best thing is it can fit a gallon of milk or juice in the door. The High-efficiency LED Lighting is very bright and clear, I can see everything around. I love the Fingerprint-Resistant Stainless Steel finish, it wipes right off making it and easy way to clean the refrigerator, I love the sleek design. Also, the adjustable shelves are easy to move. I can adjust a shelf to fit anything I would like stored inside, so it's ready to go the next day. Literally almost everything I had in my old fridge fit on the doors, and in the draws alone! For instance I have 2 different gallons of milk on the door! A 60 count of eggs on the shelf, how cool is that! So definitely large capacity for sure! The freezer part is nice and deep, and the top drawer in the freezer fits a lot as well. The ice maker being inside the freezer looks good, holds a lot without taking a bunch of space. It makes ice within a decent amount of time. Runs super quiet and it got to the temp I set quickly. The fingerprint resistance is great since I have small children. It really does keep the fingerprints to a minimum! Overall, I love it!

Great for big families

The door compartments are very spacious both wide and tall, and because they have French doors you get double the space as a traditional door style. I was initially unsure about the amount of space the freezer would supply, but if that Is a concern no worries. The freezer is very spacious as well and if you don't have a water line to use the ice makers you can remove that compartment for added space. I enjoy the door alarm for when the fridge doors are left open, and how you can lock in your settings and not worry about them being accidentally changed. This is surely the best refrigerator I have had thus far. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a spacious refrigerator with sturdy compartments that won't easily break over time.n

The Big One

Submitted by lafamiliacastro3 - I was accepted to try the Samsung 3-Door French Door Refrigerator in Stainless Steel. I chose the stainless steel because it is finger stain resistant. I have a toddler and this was a must. That feature is excellent. I've had my new refrigerator for a week now and my toddler has had his hands all over it with zero fringer smudge. Thats amazing if you ask me . My previous refrigerator was packed with no space to put my dairy or sauces ,which I buy plenty. The compartments on the new Samsung French doors are tall enough to put my milk and drink containers as well as my collection of sauces in to give me plenty of space for the inside shelves to place other products. The space in my new refrigerator is huge to say the least. It actually looks empty but much more organized. I can even move the shelves up and down to accommodate any size products .The water filter is hidden in the middle lower part, above the freezer, in between the fruit and veggie drawers. It's a good spot in case I would need to change it, it's easy to remove and replace . The downside this particular model is that it has no water dispenser. I'm a little disappointed only cause sometimes it is an inconvenience to get water from another source. There is a nice small and sleek drawer on lower part under the fruit and veggie drawer . I use it to put my deli product but it can be used for anything you would like to keep cold but not too cold . Maybe for keeping products cool . The fruit and veggie drawers are basic but a lot of space. The ice dispenser on the other hand is great because it is in plain site when you open the freezer door. It is a medium size rectangular container. The ice looks clear and it drops the ice with no loud sound. My previous refrigerator would make the loudest sound when dispensing and dropping the ice. The freezer is my ultimate favorite part of this refrigerator. It has a sliding compartment for the smaller stuff like fries or ice cream next to the ice container. The bottom freezer compartment has an immense depth to put all kids of meats frozen goods in , with a divider in the middle to sort products by department for example pizza and lasagna on one side as opposed to meats on the other side. The dimensions are very big but that's what I love about it because it has so much space and compartments to organize every product .

Our new fridge was fairly easy to install and began getting cold way faster than expected making transferring everything from the old fridge quick and easy. We thought it wouldn't be as spacious but it has so much space its incredible. The bottom freezer also has a lot of space and fit everything we had with room left over to put even more. Plus the ice tray on the bottom is working great and making perfectly sized cubes. We go thru a lot of Ice and are really impressed with the amount of Ice this fridge produces. Another great feature to have is the stainless steel fingerprint resistant as it stays looking clean and modern. The design of the fridge stands out and makes my kitchen look so beautiful and modern, plus it runs quietly and doesn't pull a lot of energy from my experience thus far. I am so happy and impressed with my new Samsung fridge!

A Cool Samsung Refrigerator!

The unit looks elegant and finger print resistant touch feel looks great. The super fast cooling feature is awesome. The unit is really spacious and we always have little room left for more which gives us a good feel. There is lot of room in the freezer section as well with double trays. The unit has a sound alert feature when the door kept open for few seconds (this can be turned off if required). The only downside I would say is the smart feature. I wished at this price point there was some smart feature included on this. We love all other features on this refrigerator unit. Thanks.

I knew that this fridge was going to be larger than our old one, but I didn't realize how much space that actually translated to. This thing is huge! The footprint isn't much bigger, but the space inside is. I absolutely love having the freezer on the bottom. No more having stuff get shoved to the back of the fridge and forgotten about. So after plugging this puppy in I figured it would be hours and hours before it got to the right temperature. Samsung really knew what they were doing when they added in the power freeze and power cool features. That setting let your frige run on high for a limited time and really helped cut the cool down time. I am also in love with the stainless steel finish. It makes cleaning it super quick and effortless. I will warn that it comes with a TON on peel off protective plastic. I mean this stuff was everywhere. So just make sure you look all over for it. I would highly recommend doing yourself the favor of getting one. You will not regret it.

I really love this one, it is huge, I love the led lights inside, the stainless steel, the ice maker, and the fingerprint resistant! Especially with 3 kids, everything should be finger print resistant!!! It has huge amount of space, the freezer isn't as big but we have a deep freezer so it's perfect. I do think the one negative thing about it is the shelf. The shelf isn't smooth inside the fridge but it's nothing major so it's ignorable. It looks beautiful, everything is super cold, there is plenty of space, I am super happy with this fridge!!

Submitted by dbmdbm - we've only had this refrig for a day and it seems really nice for the most part. the only letdown so far is the pantry drawer falls off the track nearly every time we pull out the drawer. i'm sure we have the drawer properly set on the rails but the drawer width seems a bit too narrow for the rails and allows the drawer to drop off either the left or right rail nearly every time the drawer is pulled to open it. the shelving is nearly great...if only there was one more position for shelves above the current top-most position. the ice maker seems a bit "slow" to us as compared to our previous lg refrig but this is certainly not a detractor. this refrig is entirely capable of being rated 5 except for the first 2 items. other than this, we love the refrig so far.
